Basic information

The national Braidense library offers a wide range of instruments for the historic and literary research.

Every service, except for the photocopy or photographic reproduction requests and the interlibrary loan, are for free.
The Request for book consultation or loan is done online, by means of the Online Library catalogue.

The library is open from monday to friday, from 8:30 to 18:30. On Saturdays from 9:00 to 13:45. Book distribution stops fifteen minutes in advance.

An ID card, passport or driving license is enough to gain access to the information services, but to consult or loan a book you will be asked for registration.

• Interlibrary loan for books and journals in other libraries

Books are dispensed in about half an hour from the request, except for those stored in the off-site departments, which are delivered twice a week, on Tuesdays and Fridays, after 14:00

Inside the library the access to the Internet is restricted to the research on catalogues and bibliographic information. The free use of the internet is granted only at the Mediateca Santa Teresa.
