Opening times

The library is open on workdays, at the following hours:

• Monday - Friday: 8:30 - 18:15.
• Saturday: 9:00 - 13:45.

Opening times for services and rooms

Monday - Friday

• Information, Open shelf Rooom and Reading Room: 8:30 - 18:15.
• Manuscripts Reading Room: 8:30 - 18:00.
• Photocopies: 9:00 - 13:00; 13:45 - 17.20.

Monday - Thursday

• Distributon: 8:30 - 18:00.
• Loan: 8:30 - 17:45, items may be returned until 18:00.
• Registration: 8:30 - 17:30.

Friday

• Distribution: 8:30 - 13:30.
  Items requested before 13:30, also from remote sites, will be available until closure time at the Reading rooms.
• Prestito: 8:30 - 13:30.
  Items requested before 13:30, also from remote sites, will be available until closure time of the Distribution office.
  Return and change of service (from reading to loan) closes at 17:45.
• Registration: 8:30 - 17:30

Saturday

• Information, Open shelf Rooom and Reading Room: 9:00 - 13:45.
• Manuscripts Reading Room: 9:00 - 13:30.
• Distribution: 9:00 - 13:30.
• Loan: 9:00 - 13:15, items may be returned until 13:30.
• Registration: 9:00 - 13:00.

Seasonal closures

The library is closedfor revision and reording one week in mid-August and one week during Christmas holydays (see art. 28, D.p.R. 417/95).
During these seasonal closures only Information service and Registration for loan are open, from 10:00 to 12:00.

On 7 December the library is closed for Saint Ambrose Day, the patron of Milan.
